Roja
Roja is the second
child of a family with a genetic heart problem. Her mother passed away after the birth of the last child. Roja is brought
up by her grandmother. Physically her heart may be weak, but Roja has the heart of a fighter. Quick to grasp, Roja is in the
forefront of her class. And of every activity in her school. Her big dream- to speak English.

Raviraj
A casualty of quarrelsome poor parents,
Raviraj literally was on the verge of dropping out of school - to become a coolie or work in a mechanic shop. FF prevented
the hands which now hold books from picking up a spanner and wrench. Today the boy is in 6th standard, working hard to define
a better future for himself.

Kalpana
A devoted and hardworking child , Kalpana’s education
was hampered by the limited means of her father who maintains his family with a few cows. FF stepped in to help. And Kalpana
has done her part by coming out first in the district in the eighth standard.

Devika and Prashanthi
Studying in standard VIII and IX, these two girls nearly had their future shattered
with their fathers insisting that they start earning by becoming domestic maidservants. FF gathered these two little flowers
into our fold. We counseled their parents and extended our help to support their education.
The children are brimming with confidence
that one day they would step out into this world with dignity. One day they would
be role model mothers and wives and bread earners with dignity.
